So.. in the interest of full-disclosure .. I did not watch the Oscars last night.

I don’t have the attention span for awards shows that last 3+ hours.  Just.. don’t.  Even with the magic of TiVo (all hail!), I won’t be watching the show.  Just .. can’t.  Not interested.

BUT, what I AM interested in is all of the fallout and aftermath of the gossip.  Because NOTHING ignites TinsleTown like having THAT many egos in a room.. especially when 98% of them are cranky from wearing Spanx for four hours.

The one thing that really caught my attention was the glaring oversight that Farrah Fawcett was left out of the In Memoriam section of the Oscars.  REALLY?!  How did that HAPPEN?  She’s FARRAH FREAKING FAWCETT.  She may not have been a gigantic movie-star, but I guarantee you that every star in that room had her hair cut at one point or another.  THAT is deserving of a tribute, my friends.

According to TMZ, a member of the Academy said that it was rather unfortunate that they couldn’t include everyone in the tribute.  Um, yeah.  But you sure as hell should’ve included an Angel.  Boo and Hiss to that one, Oscar.
