Jessica Simpson definitely was making a point when she loudly announced that her spread in Marie Claire would feature NO makeup, NO product, and NO retouching.
Thing is, people ain’t buyin’ what she’s sellin’.
Although, yes, it’s clear that she is not as made-up as she typically is, many are saying that she’s clearly been retouched and there’s been a bit of Photoshopping done to her images.
You be the judge.
Edited to Add: Apparently Britney is taking the same bold move.. although hers REALLY don’t look retouched.

I’m looking at the actual cover and my ass she’s not wearing makeup.
She’s for sure got at least vaseline on her lips, her eyebrows have been filled in and groomed and she’s wearing very well-blended foundation in my opinion.
And especially on the cover shot, it’s obvious she has liner halfway under her lower lid and mascara.
I’m a makeup whore so I obviously don’t care how much makeup anyone wears but this oh I look perfect with no makeup shit wears me out. Tired of people setting unnatural expectations.
Plus, with her boob job and hair color I don’t think she can ever be called natural.
