Unless you live under a rock and only come out for Southern Fried Snark (and why wouldn’t you)….then surely you have heard about the much anticipated Alice in Wonderland reinvented by the master of unusual…Tim Burton!

Well apparently everyone is getting in on the Alice craze!  I guess the merchandising opportunities were just too much to resist.  There is Alice everything!  Some of it is the classic animated image and some are takes on teh new updated version BUT whichever Alice is your cup of tea I bet you can find something you MUST have!  I did!

Here are some of our favs! (and of course commentary on them)

1.   Let’s start with the unattainable. Urban Decay created a new color palette collection inspired by AiW.  From what I understand the colors are not new colors but they have been gathered together and renamed to create the collection.  Of course these are sold out everywhere. They were going for $52 retail and are now selling for $80-$100 on ebay.  I want one.

2.   White Queen Tee by Disney Couture – I love the very Marilyn / Madonna feel that this shirt is rockin’ but at $65 it seems at bit much. PLUS few of us could actually pull this off.  I guess I will love it from afar.

3.   Create Your Own “Alice” collection – At disneystore.com you can actually create some of your very own Alice merch.  They have tote bags, tees, hoodies, watches and even computer and phone skins that you can customize with various Alice images and characters.  The prices aren’t bad either.  20 bucks for a tee shirt, 25 for a tote bag and about 15 for the skins.

4.  Alice in Wonderland charm bracelet by Tom Binns for Disney Couture – All the wonders of Wonderland in one bracelet!  Does it tickle anyone else that Disney now has “couture” collections?

5.  OPI Alice in Wonderland nail polish collection – I love this BUT they could have done so much more!  Maybe they were limited by the all mighty mouse but it just seems like they stopped short with only 4 colors.    I can think of about a million more (or at least 6 or 7).  You guys know that it has always been a dream of mine to be the person that names the OPI  polish…right?  That is my dream job.

6.  Paul and Joe Alice in Wonderland collection – I love they the are using the soft pastels and sweetness of the original animated movie.

I could go on forever but I will stop.  If you can’t afford the more “couture” Alice items then you should check out the Alice collections at places like Hot Topic , Urban Outfitters and the PLETHORA of Alice items on Etsy.  You can find anything and everything for every size, shape and price point.

Of course I can’t leave you with out being snarky…so here are few things that are Alice inspired and apparently WTF inspired as well!

1 – Living Dead Doll – Alice in Wonderland –   I know that Alice in Wonderland + Tim Burton = Emo kids wet dream but this shit is just freaky.

2 – I almost have no words for this.  WHERE would you wear this???? I go lots of places for lots of events…but I have never been anyWHERE that this would be ok.

3 – This isn’t emo or dark and I know art is subjective BUT I am still giving this Alice doll my creepy stamp.

I have always LOVED Alice. The bratchild’s nursery was done in the old AiW stuff.
My kaboodle list has the create your own watch on it-I am getting the red queen logo with my initials on it-it’s only about $45
I am DYING for the Tom Binns silver multi-layered keyhole and lock necklace-trying to pawn it off on J as a hooray for my new job prize.
And I know you hate me :( since I got the Urban Decay set.

Did (do you) get the “Club Fondue” e-letter from The Melting Pot? If not, then you should know about this; it’s tempting:

“We are late! We are late! We are late for a very important date! That date is March 4th at 9pm! Join us for the special premier party of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland!
We will be hosting our very own premier party beginning at 9pm. It will definitely be a fantastical dinner party! After the dinner party we will be enjoying the premier of Alice in Wonderland at Monaco Pictures. Unfortunately a dinner party of this nature has to be limited to the first 150 people that want to go down the rabbit hole. We will begin at 9pm with everyone finding their own special dinner table. Our first course of the evening will be the March Hare’s special cheese fondue, followed by the White Rabit’s favorite salad. We will finish up the meal with’s Alice’s dreamy chocolate fondue. At just a little before the night reaches it’s peak at 12am we will wisk you away to the Monaco Movie Theater to be the first one to enjoy the premier of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Enjoy this entire fantastic adventure for $39.00 per person (including your movie tickets) plus tax and gratuity.”
